- Tom09/03/2023 5:22Stayed (Less than 1 year)4.4I stayed here for a month and enjoyed it very much. PJ, the owner, makes you feel like you're staying with family. Location: the hotel is in Pinklao and tucked in one of the smaller roads. It can be difficult to get around by foot, especially during the hot day, so I often called motorbikes or ordered takeout with Grab. The nearest transit hub is Bang Yi Khan MRT station, about 10 min walk. The nearest shopping mall is Central Pinklao, about 25 min walk, and on the way you will find many restaurants and street food vendors. For the bold and athletically-inclined, you can also walk to popular areas like Khaosan Road and the Grand Palace, and it's an especially scenic walk at night to cross the Chao Phraya river. Rooms: my room was large with a comfortable (but firm) bed, and a reasonably good shower. There was an issue with my room at first but PJ and his staff resolved it. Wifi and AC were good as well. My only complaint is that the walls are thin and you can hear sounds from the hallway or neighbors rooms. Amenities: this is a serviced apartment and comes with an option for weekly cleaning. Aside from that, there's a nice rooftop terrace for chilling out, but bring your bug spray. Coin laundry is conveniently available as well. Overall Opinion: for the price, this is a great apartment if you don't mind being farther from the city center or you need to be in Pinklao.
